Swissair, maintaining the swift pace of its fleet modernization programme, is happy to welcome into its service this year eight Convair "Metropolitan" aircraft for shortdistance routes. Early next year, three additional "Metropolitans" will join our fleet. These craft are the latest in European air transportation. Their passenger capacity is larger and they offer increased comfort.
