This book describes a three-month yourney from England to Katmandu the capital of Nepal, then home again. The outward journey as far as Kabul Afghanistan was made with, a party young people travelling in somewhat spartan conditions in three covered lorries named Faith, Hope and Charity. The route covered France, Italy, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Iran and on into Afghanistan.
One time was spent in Kabul exploring the district and then a reduced party continued in one of the lorries through the Khyber Pass into Pakistan.
